Application
Low compressive strength, medium soft, with harder abrasive interlayers formations, such as hard shale, anhydrite, soft limestone, sandstone, etc.
Operating Suggestions
- The new bit needs to be lightly pressed and turned slowly for 20 to 30 minutes before drilling.
- During normal drilling, the upper limit values of WOB and rotary speed cannot be used at the same time. The recommended parameters are as follows:
| Parameter Items | Recommended range values |
|---|---|
| WOB : | 0.35 ~ 1.05 kN/mm (Bit Diameter) |
| RPM : | 140 ~ 60 r/min |
Lug Protection
Hardmetal on Lug and wear resistant carbide on shirttail lip and lug.

Product Introduction
- High strength and wear resistance tungsten carbide, improve the strength and wear resistance of tooth.
- A new journal bearing structure that significantly extends the working life of the bearing, which withstand moderate bit pressure and adapt to higher rotational speeds.
- The new fluorinated rubber sealing ring improved performance, making it more suitable for the working environment and operating parameters of roller cone bits.
- The shirttail and head OD are protected by welding wear-resisting alloy and cemented carbide tooth.
- A row of gauge trimmers is added between heel row and gage row compacts, so that it has double functions of trimming borehole wall and protecting cone shell.
- The cutting structure adopts optimized TCI inserts to increase the cutting width of the alloy teeth and improve the drilling efficiency.
